Calling all green jeeps!

Im embarking on a pretty big project.

Im going to be removing my tub and painting it some color green. Im debating JD green or burnt orange or some other color green.

Also planning on painting the frame to match and hopefully rebuild my tranny while everything is apart.

post up some pics of green jeeps and what you used please!

Not sure what color green ours is. Factory color but we only see it on the new jeeps.

Military OD (olive drab) is a very cool shade of green that looks good on a Jeep.

Hey! that's an awesome idea. I thought about doing that too because I saw a yellow Jeep on here w/yellow inside and yellow&black seats---it looked awesome!!! I also have a green Jeep and wanted to do a color on the inside as well.. I like the JD green idea though!!!

here's my "camel green" TJ

I have the factory shale green (I think). Its a very cool color, in some lights it is green, some it is almost blueish, and some almost a black. Picture flood incoming!

Heres mine, Forest green. I never thought I'd own a green vehical, but I really like this green jeep. I also like that Electric Lime green, (it's also called Lizard green) I think the contrast is better between the electric lime and the black accents- fenders/bumper/sliders, mirrors/wipers/door handles/roll bar padding- ect.

Gotta love the green.
Hey, all Jeeps were green once.
Another Moss Green/Pearl Clearcoat.
The shade really changes depending on light conditions. Looks almost black at night.

Just remembered the spare fenders - green also.
Don't know what this shade is called but reminds me of the 'rescue green' on the JKs (unfortunately. - Not a fan of the 'rescue green').

The guy I bought the fenders from told me this color was only available for 6 months in 1997

EDIT: Seems to be the same green as Phaeton's 97 in post #2

LOVE green in a jeep, especially the closer to olive the better but i also love the forest/hunter greens, and i never would've expected this outta me but i love the newer bright green called "rescue green metallic",

which makes me ask... what the heck is "rescue green" ?

seriously....

i gotta know....

what on earth is that name from?

emerald green pearl. I like it, one view it is dark green, the next it is light green, and then it is almost a blue color.
