decided to cut my flares....pics

I decided to cut the flares on my jeep this weekend to help out with the tires rubbing. I have a 4 inch suspension lift and 35's they still rub but not nearly as bad as they did before. Anyways I'm pretty happy with how they turned out. let me know what you guys think.

thanks the first one took a while to figure out how I wanted to cut it and how short but after that they were really easy. I really like the way the 35's look so now I'm debating on doing a 1" bl or just trying to extend the bumpstops so the tires wont rub. instead of going down to 33's.

I used a jigsaw to cut out the main part of the flares then a grinder to smooth the edges, take off any extra, and round the corners... and a lot of blue tape to draw out what I wanted to cut on the flares

just cut the fenders off...its gonna happen someday.....they look really good as they are but fenders are over rated and are just there to be ripped off by trees, rocks, etc.......dont worry about a little rubbing.....consider it a natural bumpstop.....dont downsize tires over it any way......

New Hampshire is really anal about inspecting vehicle inspection, so I can't just hack 'em off... they look real sweet chopped up though, I may have to get the dremel out and give it a whirl.

these are going to have to do for now. I really want to get a set of tube flares but I've only had the jeep for a month and there are other things I want to do first.
