Finished the RE 4.5 SE lift ((pics))

So after a lot of research and talking with some of you on this site I finally ordered the lift and installed it this weekend and I am so glad that I did it. It's the Re 4.5 Se from groupbuy that came with a free SYE and Tom Woods Drive Shaft. Also came with Gen II disco's for the front! Here is the before and after pics... All I have left is to bleed the brake lines and install the SYE and CV Drive shaft. For those of you who have done this how hard of an install do I have ahead of me for the SYE... I am thinking of just taking it to a shop to have it done. What do you guys think?

Before

After

Looks good. If you put on the lift then you can install that SYE in a couple hours at most. Assuming you have one of the popular brands of SYE the instructions will be spot on. For your first one I would suggest removing the the entire case.

The SYE is Advanced Adapters and the safts is a Tom Woods shaft. You were right about the directions, pics and all, but i am pressed for time and was wondering if it would cost much to just have someone do it?

I would imagine were a shop to do it for you they would charge anywhere from 100 to 150 bucks to put in an SYE and new dshaft for you. Figuring most shops would probably bill out at 65 to 80 an hour and they would probably charge you around 2 hours for the install.

They are 33" Mickey Thompson MTZ's 12.50 15 on 15 x 8 pro comp 's and I love the look of them. Had them mounted black side out to keep the all black look.
