First Jeep - need some help!

Hey all! I just bought a 2006 Wrangler SE for my first Jeep and I completely love it. I am in college and it is my everyday vehicle. I want to put a lift and some bigger tires on it, I just don't know what is best for me. I will go off roading, crawling, etc maybe once or twice a month. Other than that I drive it on the road everyday. I was thinking maybe a 3" or 4" lift and 33's. Any suggestions on good lifts and tires for my situation?!

thanks

I like the Zone 4". Good quality at a good price. As for tires I just bought a set of 12x33 Goodyear Duratracs and I really like them.

I have the 33x12.5 duratracs as well and will be replacing with the same thing come that time. I run zone 3 inch lift plus a 1.25 body lift to keep my driveline angles somewhat low compared to a 4 inch lift plus i could keep my stock control arms. I just found 3 inch plus a small body lift was much simpler and cheaper. Heres a pic

4" opens up can of worms. At minimun Ull need sye/ cv driveshaft, among other things n starts affecting steering more. I have 2.5 ome + 1.25 bl 1" mml. No need for sye. Can always add later if u want. Can fit 33s no prob w that combo. All depends on what kind of terrain u r wheeling n what ur ultimate goal is with jeep. I try n buy a few quality things at a time that will hold up over alot of cheaper crap that u need to replace in a few years. To each is own. Check out review section alot of good info there
