I think it is called a freedom top im not sure. it has two seperate panels one acts as a sun roof if you dont want to go topless than the other obv. takes off the whole thing. i think the jk 's have this top as an option. either that or its a homemade deal. i think it looks kind of uglu

I've seen those here in Turkey on some Jeeps...its like a Freedom top except the section above the driver comes off in one piece. I could be way off base here, and no idea how he would have gotten it back to the USA, but Iran actually makes a knock off/reverse engineered Jeep knock off that uses that same top. They look EXACTLY like the US Jeeps, but don't have the Jeep badging. Guessing this guy had his jeep in Europe ( Military?) and bought that top over here.

It could possibly be from over seas I did not talk to the drive I wound this jeep at my work in Fort Recovery OH . And I have not seen it since and also the doors look a lot different but the interior look like a normal TJ I wouldn't think he would be able to get a jeep from over seas and also I would think it would be cheaper to just but one in the states if he actually did that. I wish I could ask the owner about it
