Jeep Build update!!

Hey all heres a little background on the jeep.

1997 TJ 4cyl 5 speed
150,000 miles
Purchased for 5,000 but with interest at 18% I paid 6,200 in the end.
Started all stock.

Well I purchased the Zone Offroad 4 inch lift for $530.00 shipped to my door. I must admit I was very worried about the quality, ride, and flex.

After recieving the lift I noticed every part was very well made, fit like a glove, very high quality for the price, very pleased with the purchase.

I then met a guy that I traded a 6 cyl motor for new 33's, bumpers, new 4.88 gears, and 200 cash so I was totally stoked for the trade.

I then added the tires and what not after testing my lift for a week, on and off road.

I must say I have a perfect base to start for a monster of a jeep!

Enjoy and let me know what you think.

4 inch Zone Offroad

I was very suprised at the amount of flex and great ride this kit has. Took a ride in my brothers YJ then drove my TJ with the lift and everything. A whole different world.

This just shows round are better then square

I have a similar story, I took my cousins LJ to school today and it was nice and all but I couldn't wait to get home and drive my tj!
Did you have to drop your transfer case or anything after you put on he 4 inch lift?
The reason I ask is because I am looking to upgrade to a bigger lift so I am trying to figure out what else I would need to change.

I have some pictures of how much it flexed out.

The trans drop comes with the kit. I did need it. Aft er I used it i had absolutely no drive line vibes.

Congrats McLovin, your rig looks awesome

> 97wrangler, you will definately need the TC drop with a 4" lift. I drove mine for a few weeks without one after my lift install. My GF loved the vibes, I didn't. Installed the drop and the vibes were gone (GF still here). It was a 15 minute install.
