Jk springs on a TJ (pic request)

I've read other threads and their seems to be a discrepancy on how much lift they add and if you do or do not need 2" leveling blocks.

Supposedly 3" lift from springs alone

Please post some pics of your TJ on JK suspension springs. And if you did or did not use 2" leveling blocks

Thanks

FYI, all of the springs on the JKs are different, and very few make height gains.

Do you know the rates on them? Its the last two numbers on the tag. Higher the number, the stiffer the spring.

Yeah, unfortunately I bought them before I realized the rating system. Cross my fingers and hope I got a high rating! Rubicon so hopefully they went big

I highly recommend this option. Super cost effective. I got mine for $50, all 4 springs and all 4 shocks for $50.

Then, I had to buy 2" spacers to go up front to level things out. So that cost $30.

So I got the full suspension upgrade for $80.

The Jeep drives wonderfully. It feels like a whole new car.

How'd ya wedge in the front shocks? replace the bushing with a bar pin? I was looking at picking upa bar pin eliminator kit provided the through-bolt fits the bushing

We didn't have to do anything, I don't think. I read all over that they wouldn't fit right, but they actually went on with no issues.

Forgot to mention that! Great point, that makes a big difference.

Along with engine, do you have many after market bumpers? Huge spare? Winch? Fat friends? All of these would affect the height you get out of your springs

My goodness. Did I just hear a plus to having the 2.5! Lol

I have a full size spare, moderate heavy front bumper.. 2.5 engine and no fat chicks.

I bet you'll be fine. I've got mine sitting on 32" and there's still a few inches of clearance. I got a pretty sizeable height increase, so I either lucked out oooor......

🔣 Looks like I got the low end springs, rookie mistake. Think they will add lift to a 2.5l? Are they stiffer than the tj springs? Mine sag anyways. I got 14 fronts and the low end rear too
