thats true, it leaves the corners open to rock damage. I think I'm going to do a "mini" cut before I stretch and do a full comp cut. I'll cut off about 6 or 7 inches horizontally just under the evap canister like my friend Mike did in this photo to his jeep. But even the way my jeep is now uncut with the corner armor it doesn't crumple like it used to.

No they aren't. I just have my jeep on backwards. That must be why it went forward when I put it in reverse.

Yeah, they work much better backwards in the rocks. It doesn't try to kick one way or the other like they do when they are on forwards.

Actually yes but it made by a company I'm not too sure of. ProComp . It's this one: http://www.4wd.com/productdetails.as...21&partID=9768

1/4" thick steel, 2 d-ring mounts and it's so cheap I won't care if it gets torn up. Jason at RedRock 4x4 is checking on it for me.

Hell yes!!!

As a matter of fact do you know if the d-shackles are welded all the way through or are they just welded to the surface of the bumper? Does that make sense?

Thanks for doing that! If you think about it could you snap a couple from the backside of the bumper too?

I appreciate it a bunch!!!

Yeah I want to completely remove the tire carrier and mount the spare in the cargo area. I'm going to build a rear storage box and mount the spare on top of it. This should un-clutter the rear of the Jeep.
