I'd be interested as well, I have the nerf bars with a step. Not a fan...but it works for my wife.

I've been eyeing these up for a few months and will eventually pull the trigger. Don't know how much of a step they really offer but they look like they may do the job for you.

I don't have a good pic of them but I like my PSC ricochet rockers. I don't really use the step but my wife and daughter do.

I ordered the Jeeperman Skidz. Most sliders I've seen do not have a usable step for wife/kids, but this one I think will work for me. Should receive it in the next couple days.

Jeeperman: Unlimited Skidz

Yes, these are frame mounted, so they hang lower than body-mounted sliders, reducing clearance. But that's the only way the step will be low enough to do any good!

If mine had those wheels, I'd have kept them

Just curious... It looks like the 15" inches is all in front of the rear axle and so you have greater wheelbase than an LJ but the same overall length. The benefit being?

Better departure angle, less drive line angles. longer wheel base better climbing. win win as far as i see. also only one body panel patch instead of 2, only one frame mod instead of 2.

All good reasons! IF I had any welding skills, I'd raise the bed height a few inches... A little more "freeboard" Had a Few Commandos in the day. Always liked the thicker sides...

First off, Detroit, I know i have said this before, but your jeep is sick and i think that fastback style top just adds to it. SICK, im jealous. LJs are awesome, if i was gunna buy another jeep, with out questions LJ is was i would get.

I am jealous of LJs for 3 main reasons
1. the slanted roll bar and the fast back style top is, as i mnetioned, SO SICK
2 storage(of course?)
3 I love how LJ hardtops/soft tops side windows, line up on horizontally on the bottom with front set of windows, wish the TJs did that.

Here is my '04 I picked up back in October. It is my motorcyle replacement ride...sold the bike and bought the Jeep. It came with a hard top and I sold it and bought the Besttop Supertop and a Spider Web Shade. I love the combination of them. Able to flip just the front part of the soft top back if you don't want to take it all the way down. The Spider Web Shade is awesome! Keeps most of the sun/heat off but still lets the breeze in. It came with the 6" lift and sitting on 35's. I searched hard for a LJ and glad I waited. It has 108k miles, but well taken care off. Custom built front and rear bumper/tire carrier and rock slider/steps. Would like to paint it and spray the inside one day, no rush, just enjoying it right now.

How does that spider web shade do while driving? Does it flap around much/at all?
