Can I just say that this has become my favorite thread on this forum!

On another note. It seems like the "light khaki" color was popular in the LJs. It's what I have. I've been seriously considering painting or bedlining the front grill black. I love how it looks on really bright colors, but I'm afraid of how it will look on the khaki. Anyone tried it? Thoughts?

Well......I'm stumped now. At first I wasn't even gonna post these but after some of the bright colors I may be interested. My first thought was that if the grills painted the fenders should be too. Photoshop and Beer

Ahahaha! I love it! Bring your beer down here to SC, oh and a can of black bedliner, a lift and some 33s. Oh and rock sliders with steps. We'll just try them out and see how they look.

I hate to admit it, but I'm kind of a fan of the orange... And I agree that at least the front of the fenders should match.

Nice ride. Like the LED lights and your write ups. Really interested in the slidable rear seat. Can you still fold it up?

Love my 06 LJ, I just don't have time to really enjoy it. So I have it up for sale. Spends too much time like in the picture....CLEAN!

Love my LJ

no pic yet, but am loving it so far. '05 Lj Rubicon, the guy I bought it from put a 3.5" zone lift and a 1" bl on it. do you guys think it will clear 35's? It has some 225/85/16's on the factory wheels that are way too narrow and they need some offset. I love the shoes on Detroit's rig, hell that whole rig is awesome, love the flat paint look.

Here's my 05 LJ Rubi when I bought it 1.5 years ago w/22k miles on it.

I little later

An now, following the Jeep acronym to every pocket, with flat fenders, chromoly axles, and a bunch more junk I absolutely needed at 33k miles.

But I don't think I'll ever be done!

Cheers

Has anyone had any experience towing with an LJ? We're seriously considering buying a camper and I'm curious what I can actually tow and how it will handle. The pop up that I towed last weekend was a loaner from a friend and we liked it, but most dealers are only selling hard sides. I can get several with dry weight under 3000 lbs, but I don't know if there is anything else I should be looking at. Also, any potential wear issues one the engine or tyranny I should be worried about?

So glad I got the LJ at the dealer in 2006. Took the doors off for the first time a few weeks ago, love it. I can remove the hardtop by myself using the Racor system.
