It was and more. I installed the duster and spiderwebshade on Sat and drove it around, what a nice difference from the OEM top. Less wind, and just a much cleaner look..went to my buddy Mike's house on Sunday and he/we muscled on the Rampage top w/o the windows. I am going to run this way for now until the Spring showers are pretty much gone. Then the Rampage comes off until Fall. The wife really likes it too. Just a much better look and better wind control. Heck it even feels a little faster well, that oem frame isnt exactly light.

An now, following the Jeep acronym to every pocket, with flat fenders, chromoly axles, and a bunch more junk I absolutely needed at 33k miles.

But I don't think I'll ever be done!

Cheers
Where did you get the cargo netting for the LJ?

Here is mine. I think I need to paint the flares and top black to match the sliders. The only thing I have done so far is a 1-1/4" BL. I hate the stripe on the side but it was on there when I bought it a year ago.

You mean replace the flares with some real flares.....that are black by nature, not by paint!

Also, how much do you really leave the top on? Mine is off at 70 deg and back on at 50!! Not my DD though.

Nice LJ.

You should just add some turtle wax trim restorer to the flares. They are normally a dark khaki color that looks great with the light khaki metallic paint. I had the same color/flares and the trim restorer made a night and day difference.

Nice LJ.
Thanks, I have had the top off once. I leave it on because I leave my mountain bike in the back all the time since I go ride three times a week. I might paint the flares first and if Im not happy with it I will replace them.

I might try that to see what it looks like but with the black sliders it seems like to me they be black along with the top.

Anybody run this top? I really like the look but it does cut down on the room you have with the stock one. TJ Unlimited Fastback Hard Top

How about this one? I almost wish I never saw it because I like it so much.

I like them both, however, the half hardtop requires cutting off of the roll bars and that may be more than I, personally, am willing to do.

I saw that and I agree that's a bit much. For me the factory hardtop is really the best way to go but the others LOOK coooool. LOL

I took the doors and hardtop off today preparing for a fun day of trail riding tomorrow. This is the first time I've had the doors off since I've owned it..

That a home made long arm Triangulated rear 4 link and a 3 link front! sitting on 6.5 springs front and 5.5 rear! sitting on 37's Nittos mubgraplers
Home made front and rear bumpers with winches. Top is made from a TJ top that i cut down closed in and covered with checker plate Aluminum.
I built and header and closed the back or from the cab area. and then installed tool box and Aluminum deck cover.

No not at all. That was a concern when i started running 37's a couple years ago! I wheel it hard and thought i would pack a spare set, for that just in case moment! But that has never come!
