Thanks,
It's coming along nicely... Many tweaks were made such as a more sectional hardware design for shipping/storage and a more simplified pattern which still retains the original look but minimizes strapping and certain other materials. The process is tedious, but I really love it and have enjoyed all the great conversations around the phoenix area about the project.. Thanks for asking! Great looking LJs on here.

Did you paint the wheels, or did you get them powder coated?

They were powder coated, but unfortunately they must have had some surface rust because they immediately flaked off around the center. I am due for my third set of Toyos soon so I will have them powder coated again. I think I will go with a slightly off white this time because they were so blindingly white when they were clean.

The LJ Rubicon's maiden voyage, right after I installed the lift back in early 2005.

not sure, i measured 3 inches out from the body and cut there...so i have 3 inches of fender flare left. not sure how much actually came off. used a dremel to cut, file to scrap, then sand paper to finish. going to get some edge molding then coat it with bed liner.

considering using bed liner on my side steps. anyone have an opinion on that?
