Thanks Barrie. That was last weekend and the temp was around 60. The last two days have been flurries and low 40s. I want to get the tub done but the weather isn't helping.

Weather has been the same here, hates to warm up and stop raining.

Thanks Rider. The tires are nice, but I don't know how they perform. I just found out that I need ball joints replaced, so we haven't been out to the trails yet. As far as the top goes, it is AWESOME! It goes up and down alot because of the nice days with "out-of-the-blue" thunderstorms here in south Georgia. I've got it down to a science. I have a few gripes, but over all. I love it. It was well worth the $575 I paid compared to the $1000 for a factory style.

what are the gripes you have about it.
thinking about getting one of these
when our factory top takes a dump.

does it lay nice and tight over the roll
bars ? anywhere that it doesnt fit well ?

looks like it cuts out some of the storage
room in the back due to the contour of
the roll bar...

flex testing

Took it to a gravel pile to check the bump stops and flare clearance when discoed. I just added 1 1/2" of hockey pucks to the rear and 1/2" up front. They hit just before the shocks bottomed out and the tires seemed to tuck into the flares okay. I will probably do a little more flare trimming.

My only major gripe is the back window. It isn't easy to remove and put back in, and you can't just roll it out of the way. It is sturdy when its in, but if you have the back window in and roll the window down you get a lot of buffeting (the top flaps up and down really fast and noisily). When it is out, you can roll the windows down with out any flapping. If the back window is in and you have the windows up, it is a nice quite, air/water tight ride. It doesn't flap at all at speed. It is pretty tight over the bars and stuff, and it comes up and down pretty easily. As far as storage goes, I really haven't noticed. Of course it does cut down on the interior volume, but it hasn't affected me much. I have taken pretty long trips with the top in several configurations. If you don't mind having the back window out all of the time, you can roll the windows down, take the doors off or whatever. If you have to have that back window in all the time, rolling the windows down will be loud. I love it though. I wouldn't buy anything else... and the look is pretty sweet in my opinion. My friends always tell me how cool it looks. I have gotten: "It looks like a dessert race buggy" and "it has a sweet military look." All those suit me just fine.
