metalcloaked on 33's?

I know metalcloak allows you to fit 35's on stock but Im curious what they look like with 33's

I just ordered some overlines with 6" flares front and rear along with the rocker rails. My jeep is currently on 31's but I am planning to do an axle swap to go from 3.55 to 4.11 gear ratios which would allow 35's.. but might perform better on 33's and being in touch with my feminine side I simply CANT make up my mind...

PLUS - I kinda just love looking at metalcloak'd jeeps

Man 33's actually look pretty mean, I think mines going to look goofy for a few while its still on 31's but thats ok.

what gears are you running with the 33's?

4.11 gears are not sufficient to run 35's, you'll want 4.88/4.56 IMO

Yeah I'm thinking the same BUT

Right now I have zero use for 1st gear, literally never use it. I can also accelerate up hill in 5th at 70.. Its about perfect for me as my Jeep is a daily driver first and a weekend warrior second.

Im running 31's on 3.55 looking at the chart 35's at 4.11 are almost exactly the same, actually slightly better. The speedometer should even stay correct. However with the added weight and width It will likely require me to at lean on 1st gear more.

Im assuming it could handle it at least long enough for me to re-gear... but It might just be a better idea to go with 33's for now and get that extra power behind them.

I have the 4.0 with 5 speed man and 3.73 gears. 5th gear is useless for me for the time being. I should have my 8.8 with 4.88 gears in by Feb and 35s in march. I am also swaping out the BB for a ~2.5 BDS spring lift with MC trackbar and rear CA. So it will be a little different in a couple of months.

I had the budget to do the fenders and 33s but even rocking 31s for a while shouldn't be too bad.
