need pics: '03's with line-x'd tubs..

I gotta make a decision real quick whether I am going to line-x my tub next week or not. I remember reading somewhere about the '03-06 tubs having some sound deadening material or some such in places on the floor of the tub. I remember some saying you had to chisel this out or dry-ice or something?

This was back when I first started researching after getting the jeep, now on a search i can't find that info or any pics of what it looks like either before or after?

Please let me be clear in that I am NOT interested in montsa or hurcu or any other liners unless its a pic of what it looks like before or after with this sound deadening material. (no offense meant, I've just already decided what liner product I am interested in)

I have to decide pretty much tomorrow if I am going to set an appt for next week to have mine done, and if I am, whether I need to address this material before hand..

I appreciate the reply's!

I didn't have anything under my carpet, just pulled the carpet, prepped the floor and rolled on herculiner. This is the best pic I have of when I did mine years ago.

I can only please one person a day and today is not your day and tomorrow is not looking good either!

Thanks for the pic. I pulled the carpet tonight, and while I don't have any sound deadener I do have a WAY overabundance of calking/seam glue. I mean the person who did mine at the factory that do went way way overboard. It's thick and it's everywhere.

I got a long weekend ahead of me getting the front end rebuilt so I can drive it to the lines place. And a lot of scraping & sanding to get it ready. Otherwise the linex would like total crap with all the gunk they laid down in my interior.

The guys at Line-X will do that for you usually, unless they are a lazy place.

I just use a knife to get the big chunks off then use a grinder.
