new door-less mirrors

Hey everyone....
Finally got myself some door less mirrors. Cheap, inexpensive and keep ya legal.

Followed the great advice over at (except I bed-lined mine) Jeep Doorless Budget Mirror Mount

Few pics

Those are awesome! Once it warms up here in the Carolina's I'll have to do the same thing. I'm currently going to start making paracord stuff for my Jeep.

This might sound really dumb, but I'm new so pease forgive lol
Is this universal? I've got a 2010 and this is a great idea
I'm chomping at the bit to take the tops and doors off and feel the wind in my hair but I'm also a mirror watcher lol so this would be awesome
I was just thinking on Friday that why haven't they just mounted them to the body by now since the doors come off

Hey and welcome,
As long as the bolt fits in your door yes I believe it would be universal. The only thing I had to do was drill the hole in one end of each bracket to allow for the bolt. Very easy....very cheap.

I have a set that I'll be using all spring and summer once it warms up a bit. That said, if you mean that you like to peek in your mirrors a lot... You may find these annoying. They are there more to keep you from being pulled over. They vibrate and bounce around quite a bit while driving

Very nice with the paint on them. Do you recall what the drill bit size was that you ended up using for the hole?
