New Jeep Color Ideas Please

I have a black 02 with a new spice soft top. I wanted to get the jeep repainted soon because when I got the jeep, the paint was horrendous in spots. I wanted to have it painted a different color but I would not be upset with black again. Does anyone have any ideas on new colors? I really like the almost royal blue and also red. I would also like to have a unique combination perhaps.

My thought would instead of paint use bedliner like linex or monstaliner. They both come in colors. I would do this so it would protect against scratches and small dents.

Desert Tan! I'd say matte over anything else. Bedliner weighs way more than paint, especially if painted on the whole exterior, if that matters at all.

Since you have a tan top I would say army green. The top wouldn't really match the red or blue. That's just my personal opinion

I just did this for under $200 in my garage, I will do hardtop same colour, interior flat army green, roll bars I"ll decide last, the flat desert or flat green.

Tan always looks good with green. Also tan on black as you have now looks good, too. I'm not a painter but I think if you stick with black and your original paint has good adhesion you shouldn't have to go to bare metal, and so will need fewer coats, right? Something to think about.
