Thank's. You are the only other person, I have seen with these rims. My jeep has changed a lot from that pic.

Back when my Jeep was still a daily driver and had a 2" BB JKS1.25"BL/MML, I would run Rubicon wheels with stock size AT tires in the winter. 245/75/16= a little less than 31's.
Looked like crap! But, they made me realize how hard my cheapo steel wheels and 33" Toyo MTs were to keep balanced.

Thanks. I'm running 31 x 10.5 Roadstone MT's. Really like them offroad. Big difference in muddy conditions compared to my previous AT's (although I am considering to go back to AT's since I spend more time on-road than off-road...)

Said that I was in high range 4x4 but in the sand I thought that the 4 litre motor would have enoth power to drive 31 " tyres but from the sound of it I am not only one to have this problem. .....
I think my next set of tyres I go back too 235 x 75 15 , that should put the gearing back too stock .

Problem solved .

I have a 4cyl 5speed with 31s. I've never had a problem on the beach. I never air down either. You could try doing that to increase the traction

yes have air down made no difference thanks though
I think that with 31s with the auto the gearing is to high so I think I look at replacing the 31 to. 235x75 15 that should put the gearing back too factory spec
