Painted the fender flares, before and after pics

Here is the before and after pictures using Krylon Black Plastic Paint. I painted these while they were attached. No spray paint on the professional paint on my jeep

Was easier than I thought, The fenders give enough clearence between the body and the flare to slip paper in there Thanks

Looks great!

I'm going to do the same thing with my YJ, did you use the Krylon fusion or just the spray paint for plastic, also Im thinking about a clear coat on top, might help with wear.

I did the same with mine...the krylon fusion black gloss is the best...

I would def reccomend it to anyone else lookin to touch up their fender flares.

I took mine off though so i could sand the old paint and get a better adhesion

Good job on the flares man

I didn't have the patience for taking them off, On my previous tj i ended up just ripping them off because come of the screws would unscrew from there built in nut which was unreachable.

Prep was very easy, used 400 grit sand paper, cleaned them with wet wash cloth to get the dust off, than sprayed

heres my before and after a year later... the krylon plastic paint works and holds up good, even if a little gas spills on the back fender.

The front ones I took off...the back ones the bolts just spun so I put paper between the body and the flare and sprayed away. The top I had painted at the school I went to because it needed some fiberglass work too (the corners broke) Im painting my dash tomarrow with the same paint...Ill take a pic of how it turns out
