Use a pic of a Jeep with a 3" body lift as an example of what not to do. A 3" body lift is never a good thing to install onto a TJ. If you want 3" of lift, go with a 3" suspension lift or, alternatively, a 2" suspension lift plus a 1" body lift.

Anything over a 1" body lift will give you problems shifting the transmission and transfer case. Just don't do it. My $.02

This does have the gap you just can't see it with the nerf bars and how I mounted my Hi-Lift jack in the gap on the back.

personally not a fan of the gap that you get with a body lift, but if your short on cash its a cheap way to get a couple inches.

In case your commenting on mine...It's not a body lift. It's a RC 2 1/2" SL. Went on easy til I broke a rear shock bolt then broke an easy out off in the bolt...DOH.

I don't think he was talking about yours woody..... Sorry you had so much trouble with that bolt!
In any case, I just don't think it's nice to say mean things about stuff. I was raise not to say anything if I can't say something nice.

At 49 years old I don't care what others say. All that matters is making ME happy, besides I left the body lift on mainly because putting the 4'' suspension on without air tools kicked my butt and the thought of taking it off plus raising the radiator back up and so on.....At most angle's and photo's you don't notice the gap.
