man I hope you got that for free.. its gonna take a whole lot of work.. you basically just bought a drivetrain and frame. Id make sure the frame is straight and buy a new tub from quadratec or something.

You can always find parts cheap on all the Jeep forums classifieds. There is always people parting out Jeep TJs.

Instead of rebuilding it stock You can use this as a chance to upgrade the jeep, by installing The AEV highline kit, which raises the fron fenders for better tire clearance. Maybe a full sport roll cage. As for the rear quarter panel you may want to bang it out and straighten it as best as possible and install full body armor over that (I've seen that done before)

Here's part two of my above post

You can always find parts cheap on all the Jeep forums classifieds. There is always people parting out Jeep TJs.

BUT Instead of rebuilding it stock, You can use this as a chance to upgrade the jeep ( so you wont have to spend $$$ doing it later)

Front end: by installing The AEV highline kit, (which raises the front fenders for better tire clearance and comes complete with the AEV hood).
AEV Kit:AEV 41003011AA - AEV Highline Body Kit for 97-06 Jeep® Wrangler TJ & Unlimited - Quadratec

Or maybe even install Tube fenders: JEEP PARTS | JEEP ACCESSORIES | JEEP BUMPERS | Tube Fenders

Maybe a full sport roll cage: JEEP PARTS | JEEP ACCESSORIES | JEEP BUMPERS | Roll Cages

As for the rear quarter panel you may want to bang it out and straighten it as best as possible and install full body armor over that (I've seen that done before) Gen right fenders: Tube Flares, REAR 6" wide

and full corner guards: Corner Guards

AND if you really want to get into a hardcore ressurection of your jeep, The AEV Brute Kit:

AEV - American Expedition Vehicles - Brute Converstion Kit, Brute Conversion Options, AEV Pintler Wheels, Highline Hood & Fender Kit, AEV Bridger Wheels & much more. - Quadratec

This might not be a popular answer around here, but I'd be tempted to get one of those old Land Rovers or Nissan Patrols from the 1960's and bolt that body on. That would be cool.

That body is toast. I'd bet there is some frame damage after looking at the rear quarters.

You guys are overly pesimistic...I've seen worse...that body damage should buff right out.

That looks rough... IF the frame is not twisted too bad, I would make a buggy out of that.

This is what you need:

Do you think the rear body tub is salvageable? - JeepForum.com

Whole complete body for $300 The thread poster wants to make it into a trailer, maybe you can find out where it's at and start there. The poster is in Florida too

I'm betting you will end up spending more to fix that than if you had bought one that didn't need any work. The frame looks like it has shifted. I'm guessing that when it's completed the only original pieces left will be the glove box and the gas and brake peddles. Hope i'm wrong.

Come on people why all the negativity!!!!!!!!!!!Some people just like to say "hey I built that thing from the ruins of a scrap yard" "Yep I pulled it back from the brink of death but look at it now".I say good for you, glad to see another that does not mind getting dirt under your nails or a busted knuckle or two

I don't think you can even say that was the same Jeep when its done because you'll have to replace everything. Looks like the console and the drivers side bottom fender flair are good though, lol.
