In stock form, they sit lower in the front, unless the rear springs have somehow sagged more than the fronts.

Do a 2" coil spacer lift, combined with a 1.25 bl and a 1" Mml, and you will be good to run 33's. you can probably find all of this for $250 if u look around

Let me do some math for you guys.

31s on stock height is typically accepted as the max tire size, right?

You move to 33s, adding 2 inches of tire, 1 inch above and below the axle center line.

You add a 1.25 inch body lift, gaining 1.25 inches of clearance above the tire.

1.25-1=+.25

So with that setup you have a quarter inch more room for travel than before.

The only reason it will chew up fenders is if the suspension is not bump stopped correctly or the backspacing on the wheels is incorrect (putting the tire into the flare).

It is possible to run skinny 33s with this small amount of lift. He also didn't specify stock fenders, were just assuming that's what he has.

This forum is full of negative people with cookie cutter minds and a severe lack of desire to help others.

I don't think I have read a single helpful post in 2 pages of this thread, and certainly very little that was relevant to the OP's request.

but seriously, just make sure you bumpstop it right and you won't hurt anything. It wouldn't help to add some more lift or clearance but you got what you got now. Make it work.

The biggest problem is people think that cutting flares off and stuffing huge tires on stock coils counts as a lcg rig. The second biggest problem is not using the "search" bar at the top of the page.

Well, doing it a little nicer than just cutting the flares off, you can make a LCOG rig on stock suspension and huge tires. Typically with lots of other mods

I hate wrenching in the cold.

By garage I mean an unheated half insulated garage that I don't own, and yes the jeep still gets worked on in the driveway, I can work on the axle inside though with a space heater at my feet Basically I can just store my tools and axle in it... for now

I'm working on the shale driveway too! I like when the jack stands sink into the dirt and I lose bolts and sockets because they blend in with the rocks. Good stuff

It was awesome outside. I actually got a little done while the 2 year old was napping. Swapped out 3" springs for 4" springs in the front with shiny new bumpstops, I started to install my new trackbar, but I broke the axle-side bolt.
