if you are doing a stripe you spray all of your coats relatively quickly then peel the masking tape while its still wet. This will give you a clean edge.

I have been thinking about doing the center of my hood with it too. Just the raised up part. Good to know about removing the tape while still wet.

Looks really good. How much does that stuff cost and what do you need to do the work? Mind I don't have a garage to work in.

Here in Indiana its like $8 a can. I just washed the jeep dried it and wiped it all down with alcohol. After that I just put down 4 light coats and then put it out in the sun to dry good. I didn't even use a whole can on the grill. Also I just had it parked in the shade when I was painting.

Did my headlight bezels look a ton better than chrome and have held up for a few months with no problems. Thinking about doing my grille and definitely gonna do my wheels soon.

I used index cards to wedge between the rim and the tire and put about 4 coats. Best of all, if you mess up this stuff just peels right off like a sticker. There are many you tube videos on it

Very nice. I was hoping you could do it without taking the wheels off!

I'm doing the same on my JK... those wheels aren't great to start with and even worse that they're silver.

Will post pics when I'm done!

I used it to paint my BF and I diff covers. I painted my spider with it and painted around his spider. Once we painted it with our colors, I peeled it away! Worked GREAT and looks BOOM!
