His roll back isn't tiny. You're just used to looking at small jeeps.

I still have them attached to my jeep. With an indecisive owner.

Naw, I'm pretty sure his rollback is tiny. Ain't military green and rated at 20tons is it. So it's tiny.

And who would that be?

I'm leaning towards ditching the 60 I have and scooting anothern back a bit. It looks really unbalanced to me. More stretch in the front and less in the back.

The wheelbase is ~110". I had more stretch up front and more in the back.

I can shrink my wheelbase in the front by 4" and still have 0 approach angle. Which is really all I want.

I think it'd work just fine with a 106wb. Assuming your just pulling the front back.

That's where I'm leaning. But to get it back far enough I have to ditch the truss on my front axle. Which means getting rid of it and getting something different.

I'm assuming it sits to high then. Can it be modified or replaced?

Yea. I had to push the axle farther forward to get the truss in front of the crank pulley. If I move it backwards the truss has to go. I'm not going to remove the truss. It is easy to move.

I don't see how you could want any approach angle smaller than 0

It is simply stretching the wheelbase. There are plenty of companies out there that design parts to help you achieve the stretch. But there is no definitive solution to getting the job done. I bought lots of my brackets from ballisticfab. I made all my own control arms and bought suspension joints from Currie.

Once you wheel a stretched jeep you won't go back. Or so I'm finding out!

Yes. I might be on 30" tires. But it will fit. I'm gonna have to redesign the front end setup to get it lower. So I'm gonna have to think about it some more.

Run the winch to the front axle and winch it down.

You should put some grease on those brakes, they're kinda noisy

That's what happens when they are wet. I'd imagine the new owner would be pissed if I did anything to his brakes.
