I got it from a friends father. Someone gave it to him just to get it out of his yard. He disassembled it sand blasted and reassembled it. All new stainless nuts bolts etc. rewired new bearings an grease fittings and delivered for 500.

I would have paid a lot more.
I'm thinking about painting it to match my 3B.

Actually the trailer was built in the late forties,
It's hard to pin down an actual year of manufacture.
here's a related website.

http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/BantamTrailer/

Maybe a new thread? Anyone else have a Bantam "jeep" trailer?

I found a field....

Well I actually took the Jeep out today. Nothing exciting but it’s better than my typical garage shots. Of course I couldn’t find a hill as big as bigjeep found but this was the best I could do.

Also, we had an inch of snow on the ground this morning and at the time the pictures were taken it was about 55 degrees.

I have a '67 1/4 Ton M-416 trailer.

I need to get some photos posted. I also want to change the bolt pattern & wheels to match my TJ. Also want to add an Autohome tent on top. Something similar to this...

SS - I think your tj would look better with some of those black headlamp bezels. The chrome takes away from the fenders
