Haha yeah love my number plate. Too bad it isn't 98 though, that would have been perfect

Got the tow hooks but had some trouble getting the bumper bolts off. Still got to give it a second try. It's not ideal but still this solution is better than the single tow hook I have now as it distributes the forces a bit.

Not to be rude, but did you take off one flare on the passenger side but not the driver side?

Just got my first Jeep, a 97 TJ. Had to put a starter on it, and it still needs a few things, but I got a great deal on it. I've gotten some great ideas from all of you on how I want it to look, but I was wondering, does it look slightly lifted to y'all? Those are 31x10.50X15's on there. Looking at the springs, it looks like a spacer at the top, but I don't know if it's factory or what.

my wife's yj has a 3 inch body lift on it with the same size tires you are running ..the space between the top of the tire and the fender looks to be about the same as yours

Take a picture of the spacer and post it.

You probably are running a 2" budget boost spacer lift

not saying that he had a body lift..just saying that from the space between the tire and fender that it probably does have some lift..with 31's and no lift there is not a lot of space there

Thanks guys, I'll try to get a pic up. I was thinking of lifting it a little, but I don't want to buy what's already on there.

It needs a goatee and mohawk to make it look even more grumpy!
