Seems to work better for some jeeps than others...i think stock height jeeps with 31's or 32's look better with the side steps off because it make it look like they're a little taller, but its just personal preference....also less stuff on the jeep to get snagged up on a trail.

But I actually think your jeep looks good with no side steps personally...

lol the first time when i took them off i nearly fell face first since my hands were full and from habit went to step on the step that was not there

on that pic my jeep has a 2" bl w/ stock suspension and my stock 30" tires.

I think i dont like it w/ out sidesteps because my tires are too small.

And yeah i knew you were running the body lift in the pic with 30's and thats probably why you think it looks a little funny, cause like you said the 30's kinda throw the whole look off...i still kinda like the side step-less look on it though

w/ my luck i'll possibly end up getting my feet tangled and smashing my face on the board underneath the doors

Whenever i get the money.. the problem now is i'm in college so i gotta get books and pay for classes. I also wanna try my front bumper design first to see if it will make a difference in mpg

maybe i can just fill my 30s with a lot of air to stretch them out as big as 35s

lol hope your girl wouldnt be around to see that

And i hear ya about college too, im in college as well and extra funds for the jeep are hard to come by...i just barely set aside enough extra $ after my college expenses from my summer job to buy the wheels are tires i just picked up

And you could try to see how much air you could stuff into those 30's, but with that exremely high center of gravity a blowout while driving would probably be less than desirable

My steps are fixing to come off because after christmas I will be installing my rocker knockers. My wife is only about 5'6 so she will have a hard time getting in. I got the knockers with the tube slider but I think that may just make the problem worse. I am 6'3 and have to give it a pretty good bounce once I throw my leg in.

My g/f is only 5'1" and she jumps up there pretty good. I threw some of those grab handles on the roll bar and that works out fine for her.

(the D hook where your foot goes when riding a horse)

You take it out and when you're in you pull it back in the jeep..

Being 6'1 has its advantages when getting in, but there may be a problem when I take this 5'0 girl out....

Got a camera for xmas so heres some first pics.
One question, look at the last pic I show where something is loose, does this matter? I can hear it ringing as it rattles as I drive sometimes. Enjoy

That are cheapo quick disconnects. Does it really matter? Probably not. What's worse is the bent drag link.

It's not "bent", it just has character.

At least it looks bent from the image.

If looking head on it should be close to parallel to the ground like this.

And you should really think about replacing those "squeaking things" with some of these or something similar.

BTW what I was saying is looks and rattles around a bit is that metal disk right at the end of the red line not the whole disconnect thingies
