here are some pics of my dads (soon to be mine) 97 wrangler. we go on easy trail rides on the weekend, nothing to bad. we just put the top on today
nothings done to it yet besides the wheels and theres a radio in there too.

-i am planning on putting a lift and tires on in the future (probably summer). i only really do light offroading, trails and such. should i just buy some bigger tires without a lift? (if so, how big can the tires fit without a lift?). because i have a tight budget. or should i buy a small body lift with some bigger tires? come on guys need some help here!

The cool thing is we didn't even know it was like that at the back until we lived here about a week. The front 7 acres are flat and the back 2 are semi hilly with about a 20' shear bluff down to a sandy creek boarding the back. Who'da thunk?

Hey tiny terror, how do you have those mirrors mounted. Can you take a close up shot of 'em?

Here ya go

They're Quick MirrorIIs from Quadratec
http://www.quadratec.com/products/13023_200.htm

Putting them on was how I learned the evils of torx. I spent three days trying to get one out. Stripped it, drilled and snapped off the ez-out, snapped off the head. Ended up drilling a slot into what was left, using a soldering iron to heat the loctite then an impact wrench to get it out. I hate torx heads. Satan himself curses them.

Thanks. I've decided to put on CJ style mirrors on my YJ. I was curious about yours. Looks great.

I'm not particularly fond of these actually. They whistle like hell on the highway and get loose easily if you don't lay into them when you screw them on. But, they're what I got right now, so I'll live with them.

That's too bad. I've been building authentic CJ mirrors out of pieces and parts that I have acquired. I almost have enough pieces for both mirrors now.

Yeah, I know I could just buy them, but it's not the same as recycling the old. Anyone have CJ mirrors around, I'll take 'em.
