and the last one is a friends car. the trailer itself weights roughly 1ton and the car 2.5 tons (it was loaded with a lot of parts also. do the math!! 3.5 tons FOR SURE!!!. and my jeep did that easy!! what and incredible little beast i got! =) (btw yes the trailer has brakes) and it was a 60 mile trip at 80 km/h with no trouble =)

can you do anything crazier? post a pic the heaviest wins!!!
post a picture if you did something crazy like this.

BTW i do know im crazy by doing this but hey!!! i have my truck was in another place so work is work and i had to do that. and i will probably do the same again =) i know this beast can do this and more!!!

I will not put others at risk by towing well beyond my TJ's limit on public roadways.

But, the Jeep does haul my heavy 20' V8 powered boat around the house to and from the back yard. Also the car trailer.

A couple of years ago we moved to our place from another which was about a mile + down the road. We have a 12 foot trailer we were using but had a bunch of pipe panels for our horses to move, some of which were 24 footers. I stacked all of the shorter pieces on first then the longer ones. They wound up being heavy enough that they sagged off the end of the trailer and were dragging. My buddy just happened to roll up in his YJ and offered to help. We used his line from his wench to pick up the the pipes but we weren't able to our speed in unison. I told him just to put it neutral and I'll pull. I was using my 03 TJ to pull the loaded trailer of pipe panels and a YJ. I wish I had a pic to share but I was just plain happy our backwoods ingenuity worked.

I know it not a huge trailer but I've towed a 5x8 Uhaul trailer a few times.

Not a tj but my buddy and I used his zj with a 4 inch lift and the 4.0 to haul a Nissan 240sx and a k5 blazer on a 4 place snowmobile trailer it defiantly slowed us down with the blazer on there as the trailer was swaying back and forth a bunch but did it pretty good better with O/D off!

If the trailer was wagging you had it loaded wrong. Still better than trying to tow a 5000lb chevy malibu on a 1500lb trailer with a 3500lb short wheelbase TJ.

There's a good chance it was our ramps broke when we were loading it on the trailer so we had to back the trailer in a ditch and drive the truck onto it and all the boards were cracking so we just got it on there as good as we could and strapped it down and took our time home haha

It got the job done though! Still was able to do 55 pretty easily and keep the trailer pretty straightened out anything more than that though we didn't want to push our luck
