Yeah you would be hard pressed to find this fender kit at any online store

I was mostly pointing out that this is specifically a thread for TJs with Metalcloak fenders installed.

I apologize... I just joined the forum and am exited to show off the hours I put in to my fender project. I didn't mean to taint your prefab kit show.

Easy killer... You're ruining a good thread now by 1. Posting when what you have to show doesn't apply to the thread and 2. Trashing everybody who has already posted here for their "prefab kit show" that I can guarantee they are very proud of. You know you were wrong, move on. I've posted in the wrong thread before too. Live and learn

Every thread gets hijacked one way or another. Let it go and move on...

ID:	826601 I added a 4" LED turn signal to mine. Wasn't too impressed with the single LED turn signal from MC. Having all external lights being LED had to get the LED flasher replacement...works great!

Love seeing all the MC rigs here, further solidifies my build to include MC fenders. Here's my concern; I live on Ohau Hawaii with their silly recon law which requires full coverage of tires from overhead and 50% of the backside of tire, basically have to have mud flaps. Before I purchase & install I'd like to know if the 6" flares are proving full tire coverage from the top. Anyone have any photos from top view? Or anyone else in Hawaii with MC fenders?

Here's a top 6" arched for you.
And a pic from passenger side behind front tire.

Thanks. That's what I was looking for and afraid of. Because of the way the front tapers in as it goes toward the front I don't think I would pass the local inspection. Guess Ill be waiting on this mod. Mean rig you have and exactly what I want. Thanks again.

35's won't be legally covered I think. I have 33 x 12.5 with 3.75 back spacing. It didn't pass in my state for coverage laws. Also, even with 30's the jeep gets covered in dirt from normal driving. The flares don't seem to do much lol.

Did you paint them yourself or got them powder coated from MC?

so i've got my new metalcloaks on the way and was wonder about the marker light install..it looks like most of you have the turn signal and marker lights, is it pretty easy to wire them up? like cut the old ones off and connect the new wires kinda thing? I'm more of a gear head not an electrician...
