Talking TJ's with Metal Cloak Fenders, Lets see them!!

I have been looking at these on rigs more and more and at first, I have to be honest I disliked them, but now the more and more I look at them and see the effect they have on the look of the Jeep I want them for my Jeep more and more. I'm really interested in the high arch fenders that stick up past the hood line. So..... lets see your metal cloak fenders or similar products!

Tek.....looks like your build is morphing.......what exactly is this rig running? Im surprised at a 4" lift + 1" spacer setup using MC fenders on 35's......especially with what looks to be a very large bumpstop setup which would seem to be counterproductive, especially to your total up/down travel.

just bought some arched fenders during the july 4th sale. They won't SHIP for another 5 weeks. . . . . . . . . . . .ugh my tires and rims are coming before the fenders. Totally bummed

That's about it got it last November and have been building if up ever since. Those are the mods that really count metal cloaks, 36" Iroks , HP 30, just in the last week did RCVs and a barnes t case skid.

Thanks! I love it, planning on completing a TT ,replacing the D35 and upgrading the steering and moving up to 35s in the next year or so...

I agree. I also have the HP30(But I got PP's sleeve kit for $90 to strengthen it up a bit more)and RCV's in 27 spline count. Day to day I run 33x10.5's, but I have a full set of Interco 35x10.5 SSR's for those times I know the wheelin will be more challenging than usual.

I haven't installed my RCV's yet, but supposedly they keep tight turns linear feeling......no more tire shuffling when in 4wd. Can you confirm that?

How much tire coverage do you get out of the 4" flares?

I also gusseted the C's on my thirty and braced the control arm mounts as well. Yeah I have noticed that turning under acceleration is SMOOTH, big difference vs the traditional U joint. Actually going out tomorrow to test them out for the first time. After I replace my radiator and fan clutch tonight! The radiator just blew today on my way to work lol.

I try to keep my Iroks off the street, but offroad I usually run them at 6-8 psi and they grip everything! Rarely slip. My buddies will loose traction and I just walk up the same line. They are fantastic.

35 x 12.50 tires on 15 x 8 rims with 3.75" backspacing.

Here are a couple pics of my TJ's Arched MetalCloak 6" fender/flares & rocker guards. I'm also running a 2.5" OME lift on 33x12.50x8 Wrangler Duratracs. Generally 33's are discouraged w/ less than 3.5"+ lifts, but the MCs give a lot of room back.

Poison spyder makes better ones more reasonable in price. The MC just seem sketchy to me and way over priced but MC is definately better than those ugly pocket flares and stock flares though!

The nice thing about MC is that it is a complete bolt on product. There is no cutting or modifying, and all your engine compartment accessories bolt right to the inner fenders of the MC's. I looked at the poison spyder highlines, and I liked them but they are not a bolt on affair, you must cut the hood, and the price does not include the inner fenders. And everything needs to be drilled and remounted.

Besides MC's are 599 with inners included.
Posions are 529 + 149 for the inners.
