Tjs with tinted lights

I was thinking about tintin my tail lights turn signals and parking lights and I wanted to see what it would look like and I want to know how to do it and if its hard ? Thank you in advance

Not hard to do. Get the night shades paint and give one or two coats.

Its not hard, just dont do too much on the cover otherwise it'll be too dark and the lights will basically be useless...just photoshop it or use gimp and tint the lights. That will give you an idea of how it'll look.

Did mine with 3 coats of plastidip. Look dark and light still shows through it

Night shades. BUT it darkens as it dries, so go in Misting layers.
Here is my nitro I did myself (not 3rd light). I went too dark and had to sand it back and reshoot. It will put on a matte finish, I could not find any clear that would make it shiny. Was goign to a body shop to shoo it with automotive clear, but never did.

Is that regular black plasti dip or is it plastidip smoke?

i just did mine last weekend... it was very easy and i think it came out well. i used a spray tint made for RC cars that i got at a craft shop for about $10. I used 3 coats on each light and it seems fine, the light still does shine thru but it is plenty dark.

Here's mine I did this past spring, used 3 coats of night shade and 3 coats of clear on top of it, it's holding up great. I didn't do the rear lights yet, still trying to decide if I want to invite the cops to pull me over more or not.
