Which Rocker Guards?

Hello,

I want to get rid of my tube sidesteps and I thought about ordering some rocker quards next time I order parts at 4wd.com.
I want some rocker guards with a tube on them. With that ones my +60 y.o. parents can enter the jeep better.

But which rocker guards are the best for me? If it´s possible I don´t want to drill. My jeep is from 2006 an nearly new.

Thanks in advance.

smitty built has some out that bolts to the frame, so its not as bad as drilling into your body . very stong. I have them and there nice, you can flip them so you can have the step for your folks. Let me see if i have a pic. I bought mine off ebay for 160, and 40 bucks shipping.

we have the mountain scape ones from skid row on our jeep. they bolt under the body mounts and you need to drill, but its the only way to go if you ever need them. i would rather drill a few holes for a permanent accessory than unexpectedly hit something and not have the protection you need. they don't have the step rail like you want, but they certainly get attention, and i still have yet to see another jeep around phoenix with them. :D

took my girlfriend and i about 2 hours to install in the garage at our apartment. you have to lift the body off the frame, but its not nearly as bad as it sounds.

I have a 3 inch body lift so it should look like this for you

ive banged these on a ton of stuff and it holds strong, the only thing i dont like about them is that they come unpainted, so you have to paint them yourself and over time, from steping on it so much, the paint wears and you have to repaint everyonce and a while. Im gonna put some kind of grip tape on the step part for mine soon to eliminate this problem. Very easy to get in the car. Hope this helps. Got it shipped for about 200, but i dont know how much shipping for you would cost

I just got a beautiful pair of Shrockworks Rockers. I haven't put them on yet as I opted to paint them and need some time, but they are solid as a rock. I was amazed at the quality. You have to drill though, but with the rocks I like to play in, I need them attached as best I can.

x2 on the Shrockworks. I've been running them for almost two years and love them. Bounced off more than a few rocks in that time. I got mine unfinished directly from the manufacturer. Painted them with "professional" primer and then Krylon hammered black. I like the hammered finish because when they get scratched up, you can easily touch them up without it looking too bad.

Is 4wd the only company that will ship to Germany? They also sell the PSCs (as Mr. Big said) and the Fab Fours ( link ). PSC's knockers and ricochets are both nice, but I've heard install can be a pain. I have a friend that has the Fab Fours and is happy with them (but he likes the Shrockworks better).

I think I'd call Jim Shrake directly at Shrockworks and see what he can do for you.

only qudratec and 4wd.com ship to germany. i always order my parts at 4wd.com together with some friends. the parts need only 3-5 days until they are here.

thanks for the link. the fab fours look like the guards i thought of. they´re a bit more expensive but thats ok for me.

are they easy to install? i don´t want to loosen all the body mount bolts like it´s necessary for the PSC guards.
