Winch Front bumper suggestions/ pics?

Looking to get a new front bumper, capable of carrying a winch and preferably stubby, anyone want to show there's off?

Here are a couple Stubby TJ Bumpers with Winch Mounts. I really like the Rugged Ridge XHD Modular Bumper. The modular design means you won't get bored with it and you can build it to suit you're needs as you go.

Let me know if you have any questions!

Of the two Smittybilt bumpers mentioned above, only the XRC has an integrated winch mount. The SRC Stinger does not. My buddy has the XRC winch bumper on his YJ...

Check out JcrOffroad, Inc.
They have a bunch of different winch ready bumpers in different lengths and styles. You can add a stinger, pre-runner hoop, or complete grill guard to any of them. Plus, they are built right here in the USA. I chose their Dagger stubby with a pre-runner hoop.

Savvy Offroad sells their spiffy aluminum winch bumper if you want to save some weight.

Soooooo many choices. I'm partial to full width, many are not. I also prefer sunken and not mounted on top of the bumper but that's me. Assess your needs, then shop in that category. I have the Warn Elite but want(ed) a AEV winch bumper.

Doing research for a tummy tuck I just saw under cover fab has aluminum bumpers now. Front stubby w/o the winch hoop weighs in a 9lbs (i think it was 20 with), insane.

If you're digging aluminum stubbys, also take a look at my "neighbors", Genright Off-Road, they whip up some pretty cool stuff.

I know it's not what you asked exactly, but FWIW... to save money and weight I just stubbied the stock bumper and bolted on an aluminum winch mount. http://www.undercoverfab.com/13-winch-plates

I have this the Rugged Ridge XHD Modular. One down fall is you need to put a D-ring on the rings to attach a strap, other than that I like it.

I am also in the market and want one with a straight vertical tube for radiator support and ability to mount a winch, and wide like @kmrtnsn mentioned

With that in mind, I have it narrowed down to just the Rokmen Mercenary Bumper or the Savvy Aluminum one, both pricing around $500-$600 unfortunately

It all depends on your budget and taste honestly. I went with the smitty bilt xrc stinger. (Stubby). I love it. And it does take a winch but you need a winch plate. (Cost me 600 even with a smittybily 8k winch the winch plate and bumper.) after shopping around as much as I did, I feel like they can't be beat. If I had the extra $ to cough up I would have probably went with the poison spider.

Take into consideration what everyone tells you on here, but make the final choice by yourself. You're the one whose going to live with it.

Schwing! Very nice. I'm still waiting for my JCR Dagger Prerunner. It should have the same pre-runner bar as yours. Can you tell me how far apart the light tabs on it are? I want to order a led lightbar that I will attach to those tabs. I might have to make a bracket.
Thanx.

I bought the Shittybilt XRC, but wish I woulda found this first. It's the same thing, but a little tougher and way cheaper. They even thrown in D rings. . .

I bought my back bumper from them and was very happy.

Texas A&M? Aggie? Are you a student?

Waiting to see if I'm accepted to A&M as we speak. So I'd like to know as many Jeepers at A&M if I can.

I'm a student at Blinn, but I'm in the A&M Off-Road club. I'll be gone by next Christmas break. I assume you'd be here by next fall, if so stop by the MSC on open house day and check out the club.
