Hahaha yeah I dig it. Its mostly scotch broom and black berries these days. Spring fed natural pond. It used to just be a couple feet deep. We dug it out with an excavator and put in an overflow so now during the winter its 6-7 feet deep. Planted blue gill and crappie but the damn blue herons eat most of them.

That's awesome, beautiful surroundings, a pond to fish in occasionallly, and a yard to wheel in. I bet you can even hunt right in your back yard! I just live in a track home surrounded by many other track homes right now until I move back to nevada.

We do get a lot of deer in our yard and ducks in the pond but my wife freaks out when I shoot them. Fortunately we're backed up to BLM so I can walk out there. Theres elk about an hours walk from the house but I havent got one of those yet. Im too lazy. lol.

Were on 7 acres, Last house on the road backed up to blm. I wouldnt trade it for anything as far as location goes. I would like a bigger piece of land I could actually make money off of. This piece is just big enough to keep me busy but not big enough for crops of any sort.

Ive actually gotten stuck 2 times on our property. Once in my jeep and once in my old cummins on 35s. I think I have pics of my wife pulling me off of some big stumps right after I installed my rear locker..I always want to try driving through the pond when it gets low but dont have a snorkel...lol

That's a good looking YJ you have. I had those wheels back in the day on my first YJ. They were all the rage back in '95! If I ever find a good used set cheap I'll probably pick them up for sentimental reasons. lol

I agree, nice land you're on.

Haha I loved those when I was a kid. My uncle had them on a nice lifted ranger around 95 probably. I still see those wheels quite a bit so they must have been pretty popular. Ive actually had them on 3 different rigs.lol. I just sold those to my nephew for his cherokee and Im on 35s now with different wheels from about the same era.lol $100 dollar Craigslist special...

My dream is to someday be able to hunt fish and 4wheel on my own property. That's awesome man.

Post up a few pics of your old Cummins. I have a twin turbo'd '93 That I bought from a guy in Gresham, just east of Portland if you don't know.

Man that sounds SWEET. I miss mine a lot. I needed a bigger turbo or duals and head studs before I went any further with it. Its hard to keep them cool while towing without the right setup. 2001 HO 6spd leveled on 35s. Buck stops front and rear, pro comp pillar gauges, 40 horse injectors, edge easy, fass, bluechip vp44, K&N intake and 4" TBE. I averaged 23.7 mpg round trip to Boise running empty with the cruise on 67mph. 112,000 miles, 2 scratches and a ding before I wrecked it. The maple tree won...lol

Its hard to see the frame in this pic but its REALLY bent.

Cant find pics other than what I had on my fb... But thats it. I called him Buster. Buster saved my life, Literally. Unfortunately it cost him his. 99% of rigs I would have died in in that wreck or ended up shitting in a bag the rest of my life. And if it wouldnt have had a 5/16 steel bumper clamped down on the tire it would have drove away. Not far before over heating but it did start and after I stomped the floor board down to where I could push the clutch in, It engaged gears and 4low. Damn fine truck in my opinion. I will replace it some day...

That sucks. Looks like it was a nice truck. I had an 01 6spd for a while, just sold it about a month ago. Completely stock though.

There good rigs. They will run forever stock. They run forever anyway.. You start beefing them up and lose a little life but they sure are fun!!

My father in law pulls an over loaded 10,000 pound dump trailer all the time with his and has over 400,000 miles on it. All stock except Hes gone through 4-5 trannys but he runs the auto and works it hard. He does excavation and demolition and uses his cummins like a dump truck... I think ive only seen it without that trailer hooked to it like 2 times in 8-9 years and that was cause it was broke down and the trailer was on his ford.

A maple tree. Looking for my pack of smokes. Ran off the road and went airborn. When it jumped I looked up and thought "that aint good". Then BAM, lights out. Woke up like a half hour later, Started the truck and tried to drive back to my buddys but the bumper was trapping the tire. Kicked the window out and called AAA. By passer called the Cops and they said from the looks of it I was going somewhere around 100mph. I was telling them I was going 55-60 cause I didnt want tickets..lol I know I was holding it to the floor in 5th gear and gaining speed. My usual shift to 6th was around 105 so they were probably fairly accurate. I blew parts 1/4 mile up hill and the truck landed about 30 feet on the other side of the tree facing the direction I came from.

I kinda walked away from it. That was my 8th concussion and it really rung my bell. I spent the next couple days collapsing randomly. Id just be standing there and everything would fade to black like when you shut off an old tv and Id wake up with people standing around me freaking out.. Hahaha good times! Im thankful I didnt hit another car and to be alive. Im actually surprised a car went by to call the police. I was out in the sticks...
