Kinda bringing this thread back alive.. because i posted earlier in this thread.. and my jeep was over-stock. if thats possible.. lol well.. here she is now still banging on all 4s
gentlemen with 35s, what did you have to do to make your jeep able to run 35s? i have 33s, i know you have to swap out the d35, probably to an 8.8, but what else?
8.8, probably an S30 kit up front (you don't need ti, it'll handle 35's just fine if you are careful with your foot), and of course you are going to want to re-gear.
6 cyl's like 4.10's and 4 cyl's like 4.88 or higher for 35's.
Here is a crappy picture of my jeep when I first got it, but I haven't changed anything. I will make sure to get more.
95 Rubicon Express 2.5L I4 5spd (of course) with a 4" Skyjacker lift and 33x12.5x16. LED KCs on the hood and 2 on the front.
Been looking 6 long years for a 95 Rubicon hard top but haven't found many around here, and this one hasn't hit 90k yet! And yes, it is my daily driver and weekend toy.
I believe that's just a Rubicon Express decal... There were no Rubicon YJ's. RE is just an aftermarket parts company. Still a nicer looking jeep though! Any hardtop from 87-95 will work, as well as most cj-7 hardtops.
more info please. anybody tried the inertia ring on the fly wheel?
