I got a classic 8-ball shift knob from Products / Little Shift Knobs

My buddy also bought one for his Civic and we're both pretty happy with the quality

Best part bout my hurst shifter is the ball! Thought I wouldn't like it but I drive down the road everywhere with my hand on it, it's so comfortable that that's just where I rest my hand now

It was free. Didn't have re-tap or anything, went right on.

Honestly more comfortable to shift. Don't like the color though. Would rather have a Coors Light one as it's more my Jeep Colors.

I’ll play..
I was taking off the stock knob and took the top threaded section of the shifter rod with it. I was getting ready to tap some threads and stick a grenade on it when I remembered this .36 cal. Snake Eyes percussion I had with a cracked frame. I cut off the barrels flush with the flash holes then drilled it just about the same diameter as the shifter rod then with a little 2 part epoxy and some persuasion I stuck that bugger on there.

Now if I ever get pulled over I’ll have to show my hands and quickly explain that my shifter is just a display piece that represents one of my other recreational activities.

That's sick (meant as awesome)! Wish I'd have thought of that....
