You talkin about this "oops"? Yea the "mechanic" of the last PO supposedly forgot to latch the hood. I am thinkin the last PO didn't wanna admit he was an idiot but thankfully he didn't cause any other damage.

even though i wasnt the idiot,,i can tell u that some ultra flat paint can do a good job of hiding the raised portion on ur hood and it looks good to..

I have a willys (1947) and love the looks of it and plan for the wrangler is to make it look close to it. Just my opinion

What was a small puddle (10' diameter), turned out to be a friggin' sink hole.

My first time off road with my TJ, about 10 years ago. This is the onltytime I did not bother to check water depth with a stick before crossing. It looked a couple inches deep. Water was just below the air intake, but the Jeep was high centered so no traction. A CJ winched me out and I was good to go after draining the water/mud.

Our worst and only "oops" to date! But when we do it, we do it big! Rolled back over, let it sit for a bit, fired back up and drove it home! Just a little metal damage and a cracked fender flare!

Maybe it is just me, but getting your Jeep stuck doesn't really count as a whoops. Isn't that the point of taking these things off road...to see if we can conquer an obstacle? Getting stuck, rolling over, breaking stuff...that's all part of the game.
