I miss my Bug....

I see you also did a Front Turn signal mod. I also took the rear lights off and inlaid International Harvester Lights.

Thanks!

It's been about 20 years but I believe so.

I removed the rear seat and carpeted it, the light mods, removed the door handles and installed remote Solenoids to open the doors. 1776 with dual 44 Weber IDE's and a racing 5 speed installed. Leather side boards and a Hurst Short throw shifter. I got rid of it when the wife ended up pregnant and been seriously thinking of getting another one.

Yup that's a sweet Bug there alright. If you love your YJ, you will love these Bugs. They are so simple, that's why I love the YJ's so much, oh yeah and they look bada$$! Now driving a lowered Bug is like driving a Cadillac compared to the YJ!

Sounds just right man, that would be hard to duplicate for sure! Mine has a stock 1600 dual port with a 28 pic Solex carb, she's my gas saver no doubt compared to the Jeep
