you got 10 mpg by going to smaller tires? That is impressive!

Here is mine. I have the Rough Country 4" with 3/4" boom lift. I do have extended bump stops. Was hitting fenders with my 35's and didn't want to go any higher with my lift.

X2 on the track bars.

As far as sway bars go, personally, I have kept mine, but did fab and install some quick disconects for it. Still like the stability of it on the road. I am sure I could get used to driving it without the sway bar, but, with the disconects, I don't have to. I ran it down the road the other day with the sway bar disconnected, and could really tell the difference.

Yeah. The correct thing to say 90% of the time is to disconnect the swaybar. If I pulled mine I would wreck over 40mph.

I do agree with the above very much. On my cherokee with sway disco's I could immediately tell the difference even at low speeds without the front sway bar being connected.

I guess what I should have said in retrospect was to get some sway bar disconnects.

If off road only- then why not just lose them completely

A cherokee is coil sprung in the front and you will notice a huge difference without the swaybar on, on a yj it doesnt matter much if you have one or not (safety wise) ive been running without one for years and have never had a problem. All they yj guys i run with also dont run them cause they are not needed. Some people like them some dont. If you do run with them then yes discos would be a good idea for more flex. Mines a dd btw and is taken on the freeway often

Just put on a RC 6" lift about a month ago. I haven't wheeled it yet, but did some urban flex testing with the forklift. It's hard to tell, but I'm getting about 2' of flex. Not bad!
