I had a little scrap diamond plate and did this.

I built this out of 1/8 " diamond plate had to form it around a telephone pole with a rubber hammer. If I were to do it again I would use thinner diamond plate.

Ok I know it's not my yj but I gotta show this off n I can't post in cherokee forum for some reason. But in all honesty this is what I am lining the inside of my hardtop on my yj in a few weeks anyways so it somewhat applys. Camo headliner and custom visors will be done the same in my yj as well

What size ammo can boxes are those? I want to do the same, or some type of tool box mount on the fender wells like that.

YJ interior upgrades revived

Hey all.
Its been quit awhile since I've posted anything on here. I wanted some ideas on interior upgrades and thought I would post a few of mine. A friend at work just got a TJ and I really like what jeep did with the shift counsel and dash and door panels. I thought that some of that my be able to retrofit over to the YJ? Anybody had the same idea?
Top left is a leather shift cover which makes a major difference for cold weather shifting. top right is the same. The bottom pick is a lock box. I've also added new roll bar padding, and new grab handles and new seats, a new sound bar.

I didn't take many pics, but you can see the box on my build thread before the cover was put on and some details about how it was made. <<LINK>>
