How did you run the harness? Through the corner of the door ,along the underside of the dash and then through the firewall or did you do something else?

I ran the harness through the firewall. Then ran the wires from the lights through the windshield frame

Got a close up pic by any chance?
I hope to run them Saturday. First I have to weld a nut onto the windshield bracket screws to get them out. (Rusted solid and stripped)

I couldn't resist unboxing and mounting my lights this morning. I hope to get them on and wired up Saturday.
They're supposedly 1200 lumens.

Ah. That's sweet. I wasn't Even thinking about drilling. Probably a much better idea then running it out the corner of the door and risking it coming loose and getting pinched. I may have to copy you.
Thanks for posting.

There are 4 layers on the windshield inner and outter skins then 2 inner support structures.

Wired through my factory fuse box where my abs relay would be. Switch under my 4wd light. 21.5", bright as hell.

My wiring harness was too short to run off the battery so I ran it off the fuse box. Just spliced all the wires that were supposed to be attached to the positive battery terminal together and plugged them into the fuse box. Grounded all the negative and ground wires together and hooked up the switch and lights.
Unfortunately getting out the screws for the windshield bracket to install the light mount was a No go. Even with heat,pb blaster and kroil they wouldn't budge and the heads stripped out. Drilled them a bit to use an easy out and each and every head snapped right off. Drilled out and tapped em for new bolts that I'll pick up tomorrow.
Aside from that in 7 hours I managed to get my power steering return hose off (cut it and used a socket) (bought a hp so I'm ordering another low), changed the oil and filter and reattached my exhaust. I still have to check the timing, fix power steering, cut off the cat and fix or replace (probably replace) the Carb. I'm gonna be a bit late on the inspection.

Yes they are. Lol
It started with replacement tail lights for me. The leds were cheaper so I went with them. Then I felt kind funny not having any of the high tech lights on the front. At around $20 a piece you can guarantee I'll be adding more. I intend to do the dash also.

I've done the LED dash conversion but now I want more of them! Wiring auto electronics isn't a strong suit of mine. Good thing there's plenty of How To's on the wrangler forum..

I made some changes in the front and removed the Vision X Light Cannons ( 25 watts each) and the Vision X Optimus Prime 10 degree spots (10 watts each). With the Two Baja Onyx 8 Inch light bars Combo Pattern (44 watts each) it was just too much saturation to even see the other lights so they were removed and placed on other projects. I kept the tow Vision X Optimus 60 Degree floods (10 watts each) for driving at night on the road.

On the top I added two Rigid Dually D'2s in flood off the roof rack to the left and righ and then two Baja designs Stealth light bars Combo beam at a 45 degree angle forward.

The rear does very well with the two Vision X Solstice Euro Beams.

The Old front set up

The new

Sides and Angled Roof Lights

Flush Mounted rear Vision X Solstice Euro beams

Front with just Onyx Bars

Total wattage on the Jeep is 300 with all lights on.. Baja Designs Onyx Combo 44 watts x 2, Baja Designs Stealth Bar Combo 44 watts x 2, Vision Optimus Prime Floods 10 watts x 2, Vision X Solstice 10 watts x 2, Rigid D2 Floods 42 watts x2
