thanks! yeah she's taken quite a lot of work, esp over this summer.. yeah the clear lenses are the way to go.. i stayed with the amber bulbs just because i think it's illegal or something here, i dunno

but depending on your year yj, it might take some modification to the lenses.. mine is a 94, which apparently they moved to the style of bulbs with a flat base as opposed to the round one.. and the clear lenses only fit the round ones. i had to dremel mine out some

Nah no probs. Maybe some light wobbling while driving and some odd steering response but unless ya off road youll be fine. Oh and look out for curbs and parking curbs. I actually went off roading with another jeep with those on it and he did fine but took chunks outta the dirt and rocks lol!!

Hey jeeps&comics...
I just replaced my fender flares w/ factory replacements(only like $80) & I am just not feelin' them. What type of fender flares do you have? How much?

hey i got the TAG bolt on pocket flares from ebay like 2 years ago and just got around to putting them on.. they were like bushwacker knockoffs for a lot less and they still look good IMO

however they are hard plastic, so if you do a lot of woods/tree offroading where you can wack them on a tree or something, they could easily crack/break by the feel of them. but i love the look, ill see if i can find em again

Hey, tip for cracked/broken flares.. Drill holes on each side of the cracks and Zip Tie them back together with the zipper part under the flare. It gives it a stitches look that is not only strong but cool lookin too! Mine was done like that before i took them off.

Cool ...you've invented a new product, "Franken Flares".
You should get a patent on that!
