Also acts as a high point in the event of a roll-over. Your roll Bar (or full cage if you are lucky enough to have one) and stinger can work together as "high points".

They also work good for directing trail debris like limbs and such under the jeep (like a brush guard on steroids) protecting your grill, radiator and such. There are really lots of uses to them...

3.5 inch BDS springs SOA, Custom front shackles, 1.25 Inch Rouch Country Booms out back, Rocky Road high steer, DT3000's in the rear, Rancho RS 5000 in the front, Bar pin eliminators, no trac or sway bars, extended brakelines.

Street legal depends on the state. It is not a DD though.

Did you install a sye and new driveshafts yet? Boomerang shackles did what for the lift? How long did it take you to install?

Sye and driveshaft are not needed till 6" of lift. I have very minimal almost un- noticable drivetrain vibe thanks to the 1" transfercase drop kit that came with the kit. The Booms add flex travel and ride comfort. Not to mention they look bad ass too! I would looove some revolver shackles, but thats for the extremest! Lol! It all took about 4hrs like the kit stated but i work on vehicals alot and had a shop, shop tools and two buddies helping. The worst part is the inside leaf spring mounts.. The bolts had to be cut off and did NOT come in the kit, they DO sell them tho, i was a dummy.. Lol. Oh and the pitman arm was a bit rough to remove, i had an imact hammer and a fork but some people on here have cut it off.. Any more Q's bout it all just PM me so we dont jam up the picture thread! Cuz i can! Lol!

All jeeps are different, this is a false statement.

If you need a tcase drop, you need a SYE. A tcase drop is the cheap way to eliminate vibes. Basically you are eliminating some of the clearence you just paid for. If you have a vibe no matter how small, your set up is wrong.

And to keep this on track here is a guy in our club.

Talking My yj

My new 95 YJ au-5, 2.5 4 cylinder,163480 miles on her, LT235/15 tires, off of a jeep Cheroke with adapter plates so they fit, Factory hard top it's never been off, every thing works, But fith gear, "C" clip problem he said, Picked it up for 3000.00, don't know if thats a good deal or not. It runs great, been driveing it 40 miles a day to work and back for over a mouth with out a hitch, other than low cluch flude,
No rust fully carpeted, and no leaks to the inside at all, but it does condinsate at times alot, I love it.

Well all i can say to that statement and call rough country and tell them they are wrong. I just go on what im told by veteran jeepers and manufacturers. I also called to price a sye kit from Tom Woods and they said i should be fine without it.. 18 yrs experience..
