1957 CJ and his offspring

"Hoot". Been in the family 40 years, 2nd owner, always kept in mint condition. Grandpa added seat belts in the 70s after taking a little spill out of Hoot one night when Grandma was driving!

Also pic of Hoots offspring, my 2013 Dune JKU.

I will take some outside ones. Just realized I've done Hoot a disservice by only photographing him indoors... He's old and just got some work done so he can feel young again (tie rods, idler arms, coil, wheel bearings). No more death wobble at his high top speed of 40mph!

I love the look of the spare on the side, it was always a favorite part of the Willys

I love everything about Hoot. Color, style, NAME, etc.! Would love to know the story behind how it got its name :-).

Thanks! Hoot is named after his original owner, Hootie. Hootie sold fruit, etc and used the Jeep to haul his goods. Grandpa bought the jeep from Hootie in the early 70s and Hoot has been babied since. Nowadays Hoot enjoys casual cruises around town and getting lots of attention

My JKU's nickname is Dougie, after my grandpa Doug that bought Hoot.
