Not exactly military, but thought I'd add this one. I like the desert sand color.

It's a nice Jeep too - it's the J8, that they make for the Egyptian military. Big tough axles, no frills. AEV makes a conversion kit and sells this here. But the amount they want is breathtaking too.

Nice Idea, but I don't like the pea green, baby poop color. IMO It would look rad in the Olive Drab color that the other jeeps here have.

I wouldn't argue the point too hard, but I do sort of like the idea of giving it a military tough look, but also keeping it looking a little different. I wouldn't want mine to look like I should have a weekend pass in my pocket.

But what do I know? My CJ looks like it escaped from the post office.

marc1kim -
I like the YJ - it's a nice homage without looking exactly like a military issue. And the flat paint is great.

The Sammi - well, I've owned a few, and I like every single one.

The TJ, though, hits me wrong. It's too shiny, and just seems to have that stencil for no real reason.

It's just a philosophical point. Like arguing Maryann or Ginger. Obviously i would take any or all of these fine vehicles!

as much as I love jeeps, I wouldn't mind owning a Sammi. Never heard any bad things about them, although they seem to be rust magnets. I was looking at sammis when I got my 99 tj which in turn led to my current 05 LJ.

The siny ones are Willys editions

I work aboard MCB Quantico VA, will see if there are any here. Lots of MPs on the base but I haven't seen them in a Jeep yet. Stand by.

Oh sure, they have some rust. But I also owned an International Scout once. It had -zero- rust. I joined a club, and they would stand around and point at it. Like some sort of immaculate conception: the Scout with no rust.

The Gladiator (?) Concept was awesome! In a long line of Jeep concepts that will never see the light of day, that one stands out as an example of where Chrysler goes wrong. Obviously they can design great vehicles. They just can't get them to market.

I mean, that one with two hemi's and 4 wheel steering - no one expected that to sell. But this truck is awesome. Mahrindja will be selling one a lot like it next year.

I love that. Although it does look a little like the H3 truck thing but I still love it with the spare right there.
