1997 TJ wont start with key

I have a 4.0 TJ that won't start with key , I checked the switch and tumbler all was good so I ran a push button out to the starter relay all I'm doing with the push button is sending signal power to the relay has anyone seen this problem before I think maybe broke wire in harness just not sure where

This may be a long shot. I had an 01. It would not start with the key. Turned out it was a part that broke in the column. The tumbler pushes on this part that in turn pushes on the switch. I had to have the column replaced.
