2012 Aftermarket Deck Install - Checklist

Hi everyone,

Here's my plan. I have a aftermarket deck (single din - alpine x303 with bluetooth adapter) and a sub package.

My Jeep: 2012 unlimited sport - without infinity package ... actually without anything really. I choose no audio options, since I was going to rip them out anyways.

I plan to install this deck but I'm having trouble finding the exact harnesses that I will need. I can find tons of information on 2011's but little on the 2012's (cruthfield incl) so I'm going to the experts.

on my list I have (based on 2011 searching):
- Pac swi-can2 which will be used with swi-jack (to retain steering wheel controls)
- pac c2r-chy4 (after market deck harness that will work for alpine)
- looking for a spacer to fill the gap that will be left over. I plan to modify the spacer to incl a usb input and holder for BT mic.

Does that look correct? Please feel free to leave any comments

Thanks.

Update: I got in contact with crutchfield and PAC but it appears that the 2012 is too new and they haven't had a chance to verify if the wire harnesses will work.

For now I'm stuck with a 3.5mm cable to the aux

Go Figure, a week after I esquire, they certify the pac c2r-chy4 for the 2012 wrangler.

I've ordered that cable and the swi-jack (to retain steering wheel controls)
