430N radio Can you reset your Max Speed??

Hey Guys,

Just like it says, if you hit the speed the trip data comes up, you
have the option to reset the trip data and also another button to
click to reset the max speed.

Ours will not reset, sometimes it will flash 0 then go right back to 77mph
which is the fastest this jeep has been driven. Ours is in the shop
for some upgrades and I have this written as a complaint but have not
heard back yet.

So can yo reset your Max speed on the 430N radio. Thanks guys.

Just an update for you guys, the dealer ordered us a new radio to fix the
problem. We'll let you know how it goes when we get the new one.

Thanks

Update

The dealer installed a new radio yesterday but this one is the same.

Can any of you guys reset your max speed on the 430N????

Thanks guys

To get there you tap the speed and the trip comes up, you have a reset
and it will let you reset the trip data and the max speed.

I am having the same problem with my 2012 Wrangler. The dealer did the same, replaced the radio, did not fix. This seems to be a software error and the radio needs a firmware update. Hopefully it will be available soon.

Confirming max speed reset problem

I had the 430N unit replaced in late March, they did a firmware update, and I am now experiencing the inability to reset the maximum speed. This was not an issue with the original 430N unit with no firmware update. I suspect a bug in the firmware update.

Anyone get resolution to this problem?

The unit also has trouble with custom Points of Interest if you don't follow the units instructs to "turn left" or "turn right". The whole system crashes and re-boots, even though the POI destination is retained. On a trip this weekend, I had the system crash about 8 times and then freeze with the only solution being to stop and turn off the vehicle, then restart everything. Don't know if this is related to firmware update.
