4x6 speakers

Alright. So I got a set of pioneer 4x6 speakers for Christmas. I went to put them in yesterday, and they fit, BUT....

The screw holes don't reach the brackets. I have all the wires hooked up so when I do put the speakers in, it should be about a 2 min. process.

Looks like I'll have to order a set of these?:

I thought about figuring out some way to pull my stock speakers out of the brackets they're in and using those somehow... but really, those brackets will be best for me, I'm not at all savvy around electric/mechanical work.

Does anyone know if I can find these in a Wally's or some car parts store without having to order them online?!

Also got a pioneer head unit, will probably wait till I get the speakers in right before I go and stuff up the faceplate installation!

Almost all aftermarket speakers and even some that come from the dealer don't always match up 100%. I ended up finding a universal bracket from a local mobile stereo shop for $8. I still had to drill a small hole in it for the passenger side, but it worked. Just be careful NOT to bend the stud, as they can break and cannot be replaced.

If I didn't have my Jeep, I'd probably waste all my money on wine, women and song!!

I had the same problem when I installed some Infinity 4X6 so I used a dremel and cut the old stock speakers. It worked pretty good.
